Simon Oberleitner has been teaching at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna since 2021. In addition to improvisation and song accompaniment, his teaching activities also focus on composition, arrangement and the use of electronic keyboard instruments. In addition to teaching at the university, his pedagogical activities include the following areas:

• Piano training courses for teachers (e.g. "Modern Piano Practice" - self-confident on the keys)

• Workshops (e.g. jazz theory, arranging popular music, composition crossover)

• Conception and participation in music education projects (e.g. "Jazz doesn't sound like that?!", "Sing Along", "Urban Voice Club")

• Instrumental lessons and coaching for piano, singing, music theory/composition and electronics

• Composition of student literature
