Duo with John Derek Bishop (Norway)
I‘m very happy to announce the premiere of a collaboration with Norwegian electronic musician and live sampling artist John Derek Bishop. We are going to play intimate duo music between Jazz, Ambient and Avantgarde.

Juror at “podium jazz.pop.rock …”
Going to be part of the Jury for the 2023 edition of “podium jazz.pop.rock …”, an Austrian youth competition in popular music. I’m looking forward to hearing all these young artists performing!
New Documentary of »Light Works« at the Festival "Montforter Zwischentöne”
A documentary about our performance together with Owls, Company of Music and the dutch visual artist Roos van Haaften was filmed at the festival Montforter Zwischentöne. While Roos created impressive images of light and shadow in real time, we played music by the great Renaissance composers and myself.
Workshop “Modern Piano Practice” (PH Niederösterreich)
In October I’m going to train music teachers at the Lower Austria University of Education. The course "Modern Piano Practice - Self-Confident on the Keys" is aimed to teachers who want to improve their skills in the field of pop song accompaniment. Looking forward to!
New album “Wendolins Monocle” out on 18-9-22!
I feel honored to announce the release of the new Owls album “Wendolins Monocle”. Besides the trio it features great guests: Klaus Haberl (speech), Herbert Walser-Breuß (trumpet, cornet, fx) and Veronika Morscher (vocals). I also did a lot of sound design and electronics on that including tape and modular sounds. You can already pre-listen to some tracks on Bandcamp. The whole album will be released by Intersections on September 18th - stay tuned!

It was a pleasure to play at this unique festival, that took place in a chapel with a very special acoustic. Playing on an old charismatic Blüthner Grand Piano that had a very warm and rich sound fitted perfectly in the wonderful long reverb of this special location.
Premiere of my compositions for »Light Works« at Wiener Konzerthaus
I am very grateful for last night at Wiener Konzerthaus. It has been absolutely overwhelming to be able to put my own arrangements and compositions into such a high-quality, sensitive and inspiring setting!
